Most of Sacramento's large events happen downtown. SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center hold the conferences and shows, Golden 1 Center anchors DOCO on Kings nights, Memorial Auditorium hosts its own events, and the Capitol puts advocacy groups and association meetings on these same blocks.
Those rooms all load in differently. The convention center runs move-in on a marshalling schedule with electrical ordered through the venue. The arena plaza is about timing around the crowd. Hotel ballrooms near the Capitol are the simplest, as long as catering isn't on the same circuits.
